Permanent Part Time Night Shift Security Guard or Awake Support Worker

We are looking to hire multiple experienced Security Guards or experienced Residential Awake Shift personnel to work permanent part-time night shifts from 11:30 pm to 6:30am, 7 days a week.

This position is responsible for monitoring the safety and security of our facilities. The successful candidate will have an unparalleled sense of responsibility, a high level of attentiveness and a keen awareness for details.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years security experience or residential experience.
• Reliable transportation.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays as required.
• Experience in a health care setting is an asset.
• Non-Violent Crisis intervention (NVCI) and Mental Health First Aid are assets.
• First Aid & CPR Level 3 Certificate an asset.
• Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Convey information in an accurate and understandable manner.
• Maintain the safety and security of the building or company property by monitoring property surveillance cameras.
• Know how to respond to emerging situations.

Offer of employment is conditional upon the completion of all applicable background checks and confirmation of credentials. Checks will include the following: reference checks, criminal background checks, and vulnerable sector check.

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 15-20 per week

Salary: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Schedule: Night shift
